Instant urban legend, just add water

The unpeeling of the layers of racial fearmongering continues today as news outlets around the country pick up the story that, with no credible evidence or eyewitness acounts, the rapes and other atrocities purported to have occurred within the Superdome were false. Except rather than spread via an email instruction to “forward this to everyone you care about”, these rumors were disseminated by CNN, “the most trusted name in news.” What a crock.

Taco Hell freezes over

The waitress seriously taking his order was hilarious, but if I didn’t have a kid, I would have easily assumed the kid would have been able to respond to a list of multi-syllabic juices.
