People were trying to be all chill on Thanksgiving, but I caught them loving the music.

“RoadKillOvercoat” is musically daring in that Busdriver heads into rock and electronic territory. But the music is good. I’m willing to go there, and call it hip hop.

eMusic’s subscription model is a bit too complicated for casual music fans, but I dig the $20 for 75 tracks per month plan. I get decent deals on the latest releases from independent / underground / whatever you want to call it — basically the good stuff you won’t find on the radio — hip hop labels!
